St Petersburg Museum of Avant-garde

Back

This museum is located in a fascinating wooden house of the XIX century. It was a former home of Mikhail Matyushin and his wife Elena Guro, outstanding Russian avant-garde artists, where they created many of their works. It was frequently visited by other notable representatives of "Matyushin school" that developed an original concept of human visual perception. Museum of avant-garde can be of particular interest to those keen on modern art.
