Museum of Russian Political History


On December 31 and January 1-3 and 7 the museum has days off.
On January 4 the museum is open from 10.00 to 20.00, on January 4 and 5 — till 18.00

The museum gives an insight into the crucial events of Russian history. It is located in Kshesinskaya and Brandt's mansions, which belong to the most remarkable achievements of Art Nouveau architecture in St. Petersburg. Kshesinskaya mansion was occupied by Bolsheviks in 1917 and turned into the revolutionaty headquarters. You will see unique items related to the Russian history; learn more about development and collapse of the Soviet Union as well as about the contemporary history of the country.
