Rumyantsev Mansion

Back

In this beautiful building designed in a Classical style you will get a chance to visit two different and contrasting epochs. Part of the rooms feature original interiors of Count Nikolay Rumyantsev family, evoking the prosperity of that glorious time in Saint Petersburg history. And the other part will give you an understanding of Leningrad life during the 1st half of the XX century, supported by display of unique documents, pictures, clothes and various everyday objects. The exposition "Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War' probably leaves a most lasting impression, telling the story of the city's tragedy and heroic defense during the 900-day Siege.
