Lighthouse museum


The Lighthouse museum is located on the fort "Grand Duke Konstantin". Here you can find out how the "guardians of the seas" have changed over the centuries, see models of lighthouses and giant lenses, the oldest of which was produced in 1858.

Among the exhibits of the museum there are devices used at lighthouses, buoys and navigation signs of Russia, CIS countries and Europe. The objects of particular interest are the mobile lanterns used along the Road of Life in besieged Leningrad, a sextant, a star globe and acetylene flashers that were produced in the USSR. They have been employed by the whole world for more than 50 years.
