Arctic and Antarctic Museum

Arctic and Antarctic Museum is a unique place with a huge collection of exhibits devoted to Russian and Soviet polar exploration. The museum is located in a former-church setting and has very diverse artifacts on display. Dioramas of nature, paintings, mounted animals and photos illustrate beautiful landscapes of Arctic and Antarctic with their native wildlife. On the other side, scale models of famous ice-breakers, various equipment, dioramas of explorer camps, protective clothing and many other exhibits detail the outstanding achievements of polar researchers.
