Chaliapin Museum


On December 30 - January 3 and 6-8  the museum is closed. 
On January 4-5, 9-12 the museum is open
On January 15 and 22 the museum is closed

The museum is located in the house where Chaliapin lived from 1914 up to 1922. The hall, dining-room, big and small living rooms as well as the actor’s dressing room in Mariinsky Theater have been reconstructed. The museums gives you a glimpse into the world of the famous singer through his letters and photos, stage costumes,drafts of the stage settings for his performances, pictures and a lot of other interesting memorabilia.
