Chaliapin Museum


December 31, January 1-3 and 6-8 the museum is closed. 
On January 4 and 5 the museum is open

The museum is located in the house where Chaliapin lived from 1914 up to 1922. The hall, dining-room, big and small living rooms as well as the actor’s dressing room in Mariinsky Theater have been reconstructed. The museums gives you a glimpse into the world of the famous singer through his letters and photos, stage costumes,drafts of the stage settings for his performances, pictures and a lot of other interesting memorabilia.
